A very rare exhibition catalogue for Vlaminck’s 1919 show at Galerie E. Druet; WorldCat locates a single copy in North America. The gallery was founded by photographer Eugène Druet (1867-1916); it hosted exhibitions for Morisot, Matisse, van Rysselberghe, Lhote, Luce, Denis, etc., etc. Druet’s widow, whose name we have been unable to find, maintained an active program at the gallery until 1938. This catalogue opens with a text by critic Gustave Geffroy (1855-1926) and lists 72 works by the artist, some entries with the provenance noted.
