Comma incorrectly placed after "Brooklyn." Spine rolled. Head of backstrip frayed. Text block cracked here and there. Very light dampstaining to the bottom fore-edge corners in the first half of the text. Illustration at p. 114 is nearly detached. Lacks plates at pp. 36, 66, and 176.
