The flyer urges unemployed citizens to march on the Capitol to demand financial relief in the wake of the devastating economic depression spawned by the great Wall Street crash of 1929. About 1800 marchers participated in this first National Hunger March, coming by automobile from as far away as California and the Pacific Northwest. (Inventory #: 84278)
