This photo archive documents the experiences of African American and white soldiers during and after World War II, with a particular focus on the postwar occupation of Japan and the Philippines. The collection consists of 16 items, including 15 black-and-white silver gelatin photographs, ranging in size from 3.5 x 2 inches to 10" x 8" inches, and a 1943 copy of the Japanese Language Guide.
