Almost all were created by young architects. Starting in 1929, the Kenchiku Gakkai organized an exhibition to showcase the work of its members. This volume was compiled and edited by Mikitaro Takasugi. The 40 pages of plates showcase designs in various modes including views, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Tanabe, Yasushi (editor). Shinjidai Jutaku Zushu. Tokyo: Shokokusha, 1947. 64 pp. of illustrations depicting projects by 19 young architects in whom the publisher has "the greatest confidence", with the goal of this volume being used in the reconstruction of the new Japan.
