Very good. The Western Standard was printed in San Francisco from February 1856 to the fall of 1857, when, due to the Mormon War, it was summarily discontinued. The articles (upward of a hundred) embrace a most important group of facts and incidents connected with the pioneer West, the plains, Utah and California.
