A guide to the legal status and standing of conscientious objectors, with advice on how to declare your intent, the preparation for doing so to avoid undue punishment, how to obtain official non-combatant status, and a host of other details designed to allow a US citizen to exert their legal rights to objection. Originally published in 1952, and unsurprisingly frequently reprinted throughout the Vietnam era.
