Inscribed by Sanborn in 1899 on front endpaper. Reprint; originally published in 1894. Her sequel to her "back to the farm" classic Adopting an Abandoned Farm. Kate Sanborn was an author, lecturer, teacher, and farmer. Possibly her most important effort was compiling the first anthology of women's humor.
