In a price-clipped dust jacket, with light rubbing (a bit more so to the rear panel). Silverberg's novel vividly and chillingly conveys the experience of telepathy. In this novel, middle-aged character David Selig can read thoughts and feelings, and project his consciousness into other minds, bodies, and souls. However, his formidable power is slowly dying.
