- 'Supplemental Volume. A Selection of 120 Proposed Additions to the Wagner-Camp and Becker Bibliography of Travel and Adventure in the American West, With 33 Selected Reprints.' 544p. David White spent over two decades collecting and studying material drawn from the classic bibliography of western travel and adventure compiled by Henry Raup Wagner and later expanded by Charles L. Camp and Robert H. Becker. He formulated a series of volumes containing reprints of the shorter (23 pages or less) items noted in the bibliography. His research had shown that these short items were often written and published at a close proximity to the event discussed, making them extremely valuable as source material. They also were more ephemeral and therefore difficult to locate in either libraries, private collections or the marketplace. Clark & Brunet: 302. (Inventory #: 10212)
