The introduction links the medium to Fluxus, Duchamp, and “concept art.” A second introductory essay provides an overview of mail art in the Netherlands, with a reference to Jean-Marc Poinsot’s seminal Mail Art (1971). The catalogue lists work by Bas Jan Ader, Eleanor Antin, Alighiero Boetti, Marinus Boezem, Stanley Brouwn, Jan Dibbets, Gilbert & George, Paul Goede, Daan van Golden, Peter Hutchinson, Yutaka Matsuzawa, On Kawara, Nam June Paik, Ben Vautier, Donald Evans, etc.
