Aprx 4"x6" printed personalized card. Undated. No recepient named. Sarton replied to correspondents with this printed message card that explains that she could no longer reply by individual letters. "I am 82... I have to give up trying to answer... I can't type and that means I can't work." To this printed message, Sarton has written a short note in a small hand in ink. "It's an imposition - I am 82, never well (underscored) - no strength to carry heavy books to P.O." Signed "May Sarton" above her printed name. Fine condition. (Inventory #: 2257)
