Original oversize black and white photograph (11" x 13 7/8") SIGNED AND INSCRIBED in ink bottom right - "To H. Stubbins with best wishes sincerely, Gale Storm". Gale Storm was Monogram Pictures best known in-house star, appearing in over 36 movies for the studio from 1940-1952. Then in the 1950's she starred in two popular television programs, My Little Margie and The Gale Storm Show. She also became a recording artist in the 1950s, selling over a million copies of her first record, "I Hear You Knockin'", and she recorded several other hit songs. She has three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to television, recordings, and radio. Howard Stubbins was a Monogram Pictures executive and head of its West Coast franchise.
