Very Good in original cloth designed by author, illustrated end papers, light rubbing at the tips. Wallace Smith was an illustrator screenwriter, author and reporter. He originated the Joe Blow comic panel feature for the Chicago American and the illustrations for Ben Hecht's controversial novel Fantazius Mallare: a Mysterious Oath, which was banned in England. His movie work includes Seven Keys to Baldpate (1935), West of Broadway (1926) and Her Husband Lies (1937). He died on February 1, 1937 in Hollywood. A Western set in Mexico. .
