Atlas of the Town of Brookline, Massachusetts; from actual surveys and official records

Philadelphia: G.M. Hopkins and Co. 1874. 17.25" x 14". [4] pp. text (engraved title and letterpress contents list) and 15 engraved, hand-colored maps (14 double-page) tipped to stubs; index map additionally stamped with red letters identifying each section map. Bound in publisher's blindstamped cloth backed and cornered in roan, gilt-stamped titles to upper cover and rules to spine, plain endpapers. Spine and corners worn with some portions exposed, areas of rubbing and staining to cloth, hinges reinforced. Interiors show some toning at margins and faint offsetting, a few minor spots of soiling/staining and closed marginal tears scattered throughout, maps (truncated) overall remain clean and bright. Ink ownership inscription ("A.O. Evans/ Oct. 1874") to ffep. A Very Good copy of this early real estate atlas of Brookline. (Inventory #: 39891)
