Urbana, Illinois: ACCENT, 1945. Original wraps. Very Good. 4 early isues of Accent, 3 from 1943, 1 from 1945. Impressive literary quarterly from the 1940s and '50s, issued out of Urbana, Illinois. These 4 issues, all solid and VG in their stapled wrappers, show very light wear, except for Summer 1943, which does have a bit of chipping and 1" of loss along the spine crown. Contributors include E.E. Cummings, Franz Kafka, Henry Miller, Jean Cocteau, Paul Valery, Apollinaire and Rainer Maria Rilke, among others.
