The 442nd Combat Team presents: The Album, 1943

Atlanta: Albert Love Enterprises, 1944. [112p.] hardcover, yearbook format, 8.5x11 inches; boards scuffed around edges, chip at top of spine, stain at top edge of table of contents page, with fainter stain and some crinkling to nearby pages (not musty). A profusely illustrated celebration of the Japanese American combat team, with photos showing training, members of various batteries and companies posing together, deployment in Europe, and recreational activities like sports competitions. OCLC has two different listings, dated 1943 and 1945; we find no date of publication, but the text notes that the work on the Album began on November 21 and was completed (truncated) a month later; taking production time into account, it was probably issued in early 1944.
