Very faint paperclip impression at upper front endpaper, with a sticker from the Popular Library, Inc. at same (present on nearly every copy of this book we have seen), else Fine in a bright, Near Fine dustjacket, unclipped (priced $3.00), with a corresponding paperclip impression at upper front flap, and a few tiny tears. Memoir of a Dutch counterintelligence operative, active during both World Wars and after the war in Germany, where he retired in 1948. As a direct result of his counterintelligence work, seven spies were executed, and many others went to prison. (Inventory #: 83701)
