London: Chalker Committee, 1935. Three issues of the mimeographed newsletter, 6 to 12 pages each, issued by a Communist Party of Great Britain-affiliated tenant rights group in the Chalk Farm neighborhood of London. Issues present are September and November 1934 and February 1935. The September issue has an upper right corner torn away, not affecting the printed text; the other issues have some creases and minor soil. In addition to purely housing-related matters, there is much discussion of anti-fascist activism. One article cites efforts to block Blackshirts from St. Pancras, as workers turned out to oppose a march by Mosley's group on September 9th. (Inventory #: 329178)
