This episode explored the inhumane treatment of Native Americans by U.S. settlers and the U.S. military. Peter Jacobi, noted journalist, educator and reviewer, who was a member of the inaugural class of the Medill Hall of Achievement of 1997 and served on the Northwestern University Medill faculty from 1955 to 1981 before becoming Professor of Journalism at Indiana University from 1985 to 2017. .
