The Archduke's travels - comprising parts of America, Africa, and the Mediterranean coasts - from Egypt to Syria are illustrated with twenty-three striking b/w drawings by the author from nature, reproduced on wood by Frederick Havranek, engraved by F. Stolarz and J. Jass of Prague. At rear thirty-two pages of publisher's titles with historiated headpiece. Binding with light wear along edges. Inside front cover with remnants of removed book plate, front free endpaper also with light remnants of removed paper. Verso of title page with library plate, inked parts offsetting to facing page.
