Very Good, two small spots of soiling bottom of front paste down, small bumps at corners, scattered light foxing rear paste down, hinge starting to open at title page. In a Very Good priced dust jacket, small chips at spine ends, a few small closed tears at edges. Contains "Fifty Photographic Studies by Harold Burdekin, A.R.P.S., assisted by John Morrison", with a short essay by Morrison. The photogravures the work of Vandyck Printers, Ltd. of London and Bristol. Considered the earliest of night photography of London's streets, "London Night" was published a year after Brassai's famous "Paris de Nuit" (Paris at Night). Burdekin was killed, along with his wife, when a flying bomb fell on the town of Reigate, in July 1944. .
