Bearing the slogan "For the Union": a printed handbill with the Republican slate of candidates for the 1866 Michigan state and local elections, including Henry H. Crapo, who would be elected governor, and Dwight May, as lieutenant governor. Nineteen (19) other candidates are listed for positions spanning from Sheriff to Auditor General. Includes a wood engraved stylized headpiece with patriotic theme.
