Portfolio (12 x 9 ") containing twenty-five die-cut solar illustration of the planets and other phenomena in the Solar System, plus twenty Solar System title, and an accompanying Dennison Solar System Fact Book. The sun spans 11" across. The Jupiter image is cut in half, though it is a clean break, and may have come that way. Complete with all its pieces in printed board folder. Some light wear to portfolio, but very good condition. The printed portfolio indicates various uses for the set in the classroom. The teacher, for example, can use it to demonstrate the relative size of the planets, and the difference in distances beween planets and the sun. He or she could also discuss the difference between comets, asteroids, meteorites and meteorites, using the Solar System Fact Book, or examine the effects of gravity.
