Sapphira and the Slave Girl

First Edition, of which this is a SIGNED, Limited Edition (#48 of 520); A Very Good book issued without dust jacket. A handsome copy of this edition, part of the 1940 first edition, nicely signed by Cather. This copy is in very good condition with a square, tight binding, bright gold lettering to the spine, and clean pages throughout; the book does show moderate sunning to the spine and board edges, some minor rubbing to the board edges with some chipping to the corners, and some fraying to the sewn in ribbon marker. Overall, a presentable and collectible copy, certainly enhanced with the signature. Not remaindered, not ex-library; in a protective mylar sleeve and will ship in a sturdy box. (Inventory #: 4039)
