A particularly bright and colorful octavo-sized Valentine made from embossed gilt lace paper, small floral Victorian scraps, chromolithographed poem, and chromolithographed image of a coy young women in red and white hat. Lace paper includes exotic flora and birds including a hummingbird and parrots. The poem begins: "Let me dwell in the light of thine eyes, Let me find a sweet home in thy heart..." Octavo sized Valentine measuring approx. 7" by 4.5
