8-Track Mind Magazine, Spring 1997 #91, $2. Some Velvet Mourning from F.R. "Russ" Forster

Chicago: 8-TM Publications, 1997. Magazine. [40]p. (counting cover texts), small copyshop-style zine but more elegant (trimmed edges, smart layouts), 8.5x5.5 inch saddle-stitched decorated wraps, as-new except for the remnant of a thriftshop price label on back cover, a nice copy: sound and clean, otherwise unmarked in any way. FYI, it's hard to believe that 90 (ninety!) different issues preceded the one in hand.. put some vinyl on the Garand..ok, now I can believe. Editor's "statement of purpose": We of the 8-track mind are dedicated to our one pursuit: to keep analog alive (in whatever form) for the coming day of its ultimate victory. We will supersede (truncated) all formats yet to emerge. We and our followers adhere to the doctrine of the 8 NOBLE TRUTHS OF THE 8-TRACK MIND in all of our intellectual and creative pursuits..
