by DESJARDIN, Arnaud, editor
Color illus. throughout. 289 pp. Thick 4to, printed softcover, title on spine. London: The Everyday Press, 2011.
A scarce and monumental reference work, the first to systematically document secondary literature on contemporary artists’ books; WorldCat locates a single copy among North American libraries. Artist and publisher Desjardin (b. 1969) published this as part of his COMMA commission, for which he staged an exhibition of these reference works and operated a printing press that printed copies of this book on demand. A trade edition of this title, with black & white images, was published in 2013; the first edition is now rare.
In fine condition, with the original stamped envelope. Designed by Fraser Muggeridge.
