Joel and Ethan Coen's first feature film, a classic example of neo-noir. When Blood Simple first went into release, this poster was printed in two variants: one with a white outer border and one (such as this poster) without one. Both variants are equally scarce. After the film garnered a slew of positive reviews, a new (and considerably less attractive) poster, filled with critics' raves, was produced.
