1983. Fine. An original 7” x 5 1/4” collage with gouache and ink adornments by the great Catalan artist, singed in wax pencil lower left, mounted to an 8 1/4" x 7 1/2” card with a pen inscription and dated signature to the reverse in Clavé’s hand: “Clavé 83 collage pour les Dreyfus Noël 83”. Some rippling to the art from the adhesive and water based paint used, a rectangular spot of toning from offsetting to the inscription card, else near fine. The central subject is an image of what looks like two fish skeletons. Original Clavé art has brought high six figures at auction.
