by Malory, Sir Thomas; Russell Flint
London: Medici Society, 1929. Hardcover. Fine. Large 8vo. Two volumes in one. xliv,432, 531pp. Illustrated with full page plates by W. Russell Flint.
Finely bound by H. Bailey of Salisbury in full crimson pebbled morocco. Spine in six compartments with raised bands, gilt, and gilt titles. The tooling on the bands extends onto the boards in a design reminiscent of mediaeval clasps. Gilt rules on the boards, gilt inner dentelles. Multicolored floral cloth endpapers. All edges gilt. Some pages have some very light foxing, but this is a fine copy in a fine binding.
This is the one volume combined edition of the Flint's Mortre d'Arthur originally published in four volumes, vellum, in 1911, then issued in two volumes in 1920, and now in one volume
