N.p.: Michael Todd Production, 1946. Vintage photograph of architect Frank Lloyd Wright, gossip columnist Elsa Maxwell, and producer Mike Todd at the premiere of Todd's 1946 Broadway play, held at the Booth Theatre in New York on January 9, 1946. Stamp of Michael Todd Production on the verso.
Over the course of his short career in show business, Todd worked as a producer for theatre and film, most notably producing the 1956 Academy Award-winning film "Around the World in 80 Days." He is perhaps best remembered now as Elizabeth Taylor's third husband, the only one whom she did not divorce (Todd died in a plane accident a year after their marriage). (truncated)
