In his introduction the author writes that although he knew a good deal about the Grabhorn Press and had most of the published literature about it, he did not foresee the problem of organizing the large amount of material into coherent form. He presents his interesting "biography" in chronological order and includes a chapter devoted to copies of some of their title pages. With a brief bibliography, notes, and an extensive index. A previous owner had inserted a slip of paper noting typos and their page numbers - and the typos were there. Bound in patterned cloth with a cream cloth spine with titling in gilt. Some rubbing starting on the cover corners. A nice copy in very good condition. Measures 8.5 x 11.25 inches. 151 pages. BOB/112024. (Inventory #: 37637)
