Large quarto (28.5cm.); full contemporary crimson straight-grained morocco with ownership initials "ACH" gilt-tooled to both boards, gilt-lettered spine in six compartments, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers; [2],416,109,[1]pp. (collated complete); engraved author portrait frontispiece. Leather rather scuffed and unevenly darkened from exposure to damp, boards a bit bowed, spine leather darkened and gilt titling dulled, some damp staining to internal leaves, else a Good to Very Good, internally sound copy.
