Old folds, minor staining, some bumping and chipping to margins with minor loss, not affecting text, three-inch closed tear to top edge. A rare broadside advertising the 1914 Georgia State Colored Fair, an annual livestock, agricultural, and entertainment fair which ran in Macon between 1906 and at least 1916. The broadside offers "low round trip rates" to the fair on the Georgia Railroad, lists information on acquiring tickets from agents in Atlanta and Augusta, and touts "Special Exhibits of Agriculture, Minerals, Machinery, Live Stock and Poultry" that promises to be "Instructive, Entertaining, and Amusing," as well as offering "Free Attractions Daily and Good Carnival Shows." The fair ran for ten days in November. No copies of this rare broadside in OCLC, though we have seen one other in the trade. (Inventory #: 5452)
