Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. 264pp. Sharp First Edition, #390 of only 1000 copies published, of Mullen's first published book; an anthology of poetry and short stories. Bound in light green cloth with titles in blue on spine and creepy goat head motif on the front board. Square, tight and clean throughout little or no wear save perhaps a touch of softness to the crown. Top edges toned. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.50),has some short closed edge tears and corresponding creases. primarily along the top edge. Tiny nick and some wear at the heel. Still bright and clean. Signed by the author on the limitation page as well as by Roy Hunt who did the illustrations. Unobtrusive ownership stamp of noted Oklahoma Sci-Fi collector Hardin Ramey on the half-title page which comes after the title page. Laid in, is a typed posted card from the author to Ramey, discussing this 1000 copy limited edition being the only edition published, other than a deluxe edition that was limited to only 30 copies. This note is signed, "Sincerely, Stan". A very pretty collectable copy at a great price. (Inventory #: 016639)
