A keystone of Shaker apologetics, written by Shaker authorities, offering "a correct knowledge of the truth from the proper source." As with other Shaker works, Mormon parallels in the Summary View must be understood as sometimes reflecting more similarities of language than of doctrine. Always, however, they show us expressions which were clearly available to Joseph Smith.
