Report on the Typography of the Cambridge University Press

Prepared at the request of the Syndics by Bruce Rogers and printed in honor of his eightieth birthday for his friends at Christmas, 1950. It is a reprint of his first formal review of the Press in 1917. In the review he described the conditions he found at the press, including comments on type and equipment and ended with a section titled "Future Policy." Bound in pale gray paper covered boards with a black cloth spine. Roger's device is in red on the covers, with the spine lettered in gilt. Toning to endpapers and light marks on the covers.
