Parker — formerly belonging to Kathrine Sorley Walker, co-editor of Chandler's letters and uncollected writings for his literary estate. After Chandler's death in 1959, his agent Helga Greene inherited his literary estate, emerging victorious after a legal battle initiated by Chandler's secretary Jean Fracasse, who claimed that Greene had employed alcohol and emotional persuasion to induce Chandler to change his will in her favor. Both Fracasse and Greene had reportedly been past (truncated)
