signed Hardcover
1931 · New York
by SULLIVAN, Frank
New York: Horace Liveright, 1931. Hardcover. Very Good. Second printing, the same month as the first. Black cloth lettered in white. Some of the lettering rubbed off the front board, a near very good copy lacking the dust jacket. Inscribed by Sullivan: "Mary J. C. O'Brien who wields a better broom than anybody I ever saw, Love, Frank Sullivan." Also with a secondary gift inscription, presumably passed on by the recipient at a later date. The longtime *New Yorker* humorist's fourth and probably scarcest book, with a nice inscription.
