Solid text block, shelf wear to covers, a few marks to fore edge. A near fine example. "The Last Samurai" by Helen DeWitt is a novel that intricately weaves the story of a prodigious young boy named Ludo and his quest for identity and meaning, guided by the influence of Akira Kurosawa's film "Seven Samurai." DeWitt was unable to obtain rights to her original title, so it was changed to The Last Samurai before the official publication. (Inventory #: 16389)
