A former Marine and race car driver drives into Denver to deliver a car and pick up another to drive to San Francisco, downing speed pills to stay conscious through the long drive. He is soon flagged down by the police for speeding, but ignores them, leading to an increasingly frenetic chase. Set in Colorado and California, shot on location in Nevada, Utah, and Colorado.
