Good-sized piece which includes some bottom half of last line of text torn from bottom of one text leaf and re-attached with archival quality tranparent adhesive paper tape. No Jacket. A scarce book containing five short stories, the first three of which, including "Old Greenbottom Inn," are set in Alabama, by this African American writer from Kentucky. Book dedicated on what is usually the copyright page to Professor W. H. Councill. (Inventory #: 95099)
