Screenwriter Leonard Lee was best known for his espionage, crime, and action films in the 1940s and 1950s, including "Whispering City" (1947), "Spy Hunt" and "Wyoming Mail" (1950), "Smuggler's Island" (1951), and "The Glass Web" (1953).
