Catalogue with a wide variety of greenhouses, including grand structures for botanical gardens, commercial greenhouses for nurseries, both retail nurseries and industrial ones, greenhouses intended for residences, from more modest homes to mansions and apartment buildings. Also on offer in the catalogue are garden frames (which are really just a form of greenhouse) and greenhouse infrastructural fixtures such as boilers, but over 80 percent of the catalogue is squarely about greenhouses. Circa 1928 -- inferred from reference to 70 years of business. 4to. 31 by 21.5 cm. 128 pp. Profusely illustrated, both with photographs and drawings. One or two pictures are on the vast majority of pages. Last 13 pages lists, in small print, the company's English customers from its then 70 years of doing business. The company was established in 1858. Cover photo is colorized. Otherwise photo are black and white. The catalogue shows the gentlest of use, with the only issue to speak of, the inside rear cover blue paper is torn -- a mostly clean or straight tear, vertically, top to bottom. (Inventory #: 19835)
