Quarto (25.75cm); tan cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine, and decorations stamped in gilt on front cover; top edge gilt; publisher's patterned paper-covered slipcase; [viii],64,[2]pp; with color illustrations by Albert Rutherston. Gentle sunning to spine, with a very shallow indentation to upper rear board edge, resulting in a mild ripple to text at upper margin; some offsetting to endpapers, a handful of faint foxed spots to half-title, else clean throughout; about Near Fine. Slipcase is shelfworn, a bit sunned, with some partial splits and general tenderness along the joints; still sound, but only Good to Very Good.
