Paperback. x, 84p., captioned b&w fullpage photoreproductions (done with great clarity), the majority of which are printed recto-only facing quotes from Thoreau and Muir, also find doublespreads and photos facing photos (when they've run out of quotations?). First edition in 8x10.5 inch oblong wraps, signed by both authors on the titlepage, plus (laid in) a generic diecut presentation card bearing about thirty words, to a fellow mountaineer, card signed by both. Nice unmolested exemplar: perfectly sound and clean, and otherwise unmarked. (Inventory #: 324677)
