Colored frontispiece plus three black and white plates as called for. Top edges dirty, light scratch to back panel and a touch of wear at the extremities. A much brighter copy than usually seen. Cloth. This book was the basis for a silent film in 1923, "The Isle of Lost Ships", with a young Marlene Dietrich. In 1929 it was turned into a talkie with Jason Robards, Sr.
