The Marijuana Newsletter" Issue #2, March 1965, is a mimeographed and stapled eleven page newsletter, edited by Randolfe Wicher, Ed Sanders, Peter Orlovsky, C. T. Smith and published by Lemar. Issue #2 features "William Burroughs answers Jim Bishop see pages 2 & 3." Jim Bishop notes that Lemar, the newsletter's publisher, seeks the legalization of marijuana. He offers standard reasons why marijuana should never be legalized. Burroughs responds in his unique style on page 3, "weaving the words of Jim Bishop" and others. Burroughs has signed on the cover page above the title in the upper right. The blue or yellow pages measure 8 1/2 by 11 inches. A total of only two issues were published. Rare especially signed by Burroughs. (Inventory #: 4994)
