St. Mark's in Venice is featured as well as a Venetian galley, sunbathers on Lido beach and skiers in the Alps. Vsevolod Petrovic Nicouline (1890-1962) was a renowned painter, printmaker, ceramicist, designer and illustrator born in the Ukraine in 1890. He was with the Imperial Academy of Petersburg. His teaching career there was interrupted by the Bolshevik revolution. This is a great example of his work. (Inventory #: 323527)
